Little Petroglyph Canyon National Historic Landmark
Little Petroglyph Canyon is located in China Lake in the rugged volcanic Coso Range of the Upper Mojave Desert, on the test ranges of the Naval Air Weapons Station. It is located 2.3 miles North of our Ridgecrest property.
Death Valley National Park
Death Valley National Park is located 45 miles North of our Ridgecrest property.

Red Rock Canyon State Park
Red Rock Canyon State Park features scenic desert cliffs, buttes and spectacular rock formations. It is located in the Southern El Paso Mountains of the Sierra Nevada, about 25 miles Southwest of our Ridgecrest property.
Trona Pinnacles
This unusual landscape consists of more than 500 tufa spires, some as high as 140 feet, rising from the bed of the Searles Dry Lake basin. These spires are spread over an area roughly 3 miles wide by 4.5 miles long.
Museums
Ridgecrest offers two great museums. One of these museums is the Maturango Museum of Cultural and Natural History. The museum specializes in the Northern Mojave Desert and Death Valley.
The other museum is the China Lake Weapons Museum; which offers dozens of Navy projects, old and new. See the world’s first homing missile and modern weapons used in the current wars.
